Georgeta modeled for several fashion magazines including Vogue and posed in several advertisements. Her modeling career also took her to different countries around the world to shoot on location. Although she has said that the modeling industry wasn't as glamorous in the 50's as it is now she was glad she got to experience it.

| She had an apartment in New York City and lived there while she was modeling. Her career was cut short because breast cancer and had to endure a massectomy. After the surgery and recovery her sister, Carmen (right), who was a flight attendant for Continental Airlines, convinced her to moved to Houston. |

While she was modeling she also picked up the skill behind the camera. She began her photography career in Houston where she also met her future husband, Dick Wray. |
