Georgeta worked for Evan Thair Studios before when she first came to Houston. She wanted to be able to make her own decisions and decided to go into business for herself after she married. She had a whole studio and darkroom set up in her own house. She photographed upcoming models and help set up people's portfolios. As a formor model she knew all the ins and outs of the industry.

After a few years she did grow tired of the industry. She wanted a career that was more stable. After taking a few accounting classes and gaining experience she started a career at the Delpelchin Children's Center. She worked for the accounting department for 10 years.
